CONTRACT FOR OCCUPATION THERAPY SERVICES BETWEEN THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND LISA AZAR, CERTIFIED OCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA)
Description
The school district has been contracting with Ms. Azar for COTA services since the beginning of the school year. This current extension will take the contract over the $25,000 amount requiring School Board approval. The school district is contracting with several different vendors for occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy services due to the critical shortage of staff in these areas.
Recommendation
That the contract for occupational therapy services between the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, and Lisa Azar, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), in an amount not to exceed $14,490, be approved as presented.
